Shoppers Paradise at Martin Place

Sydney is home to fine food, interesting museums and a backlog of aboriginal
history. This immersive city is also home to Martin Place, a pedestrianised
shopping mall located in the central business district. This open-air mall is
located between George and Macquarie street and can be accessed by train at
the underground level.

The shopping mall is surrounded by grand, beautiful, buildings varying in style
with some adopting a modern look and others boasting archaic architecture.
Inside the mall, there’s an array of shops from major brands to boutique stores
offering wares at a range of prices to match. Whether you’re here looking for a
new outfit or doing a last minute souvenir shop, there’s something for everyone.

The area is also surrounded by many restaurants, banks and bars all of which
become overflowing come lunch and evening creating an eclectic vibe in the
district. There’s also plenty of cultural sites to explore nearby including an
amphitheatre. The area is also home to film festivals, local concerts and
seasonal festivities which makes for great entertainment after a hard days
shopping. If you’re here in December, Martin’s Place is home to the cities
biggest and boldest Christmas tree which can’t be missed.
